Accessing Entity Configurations

The Config API is the place for setting up, configuring, importing and exporting Entities and their definitions.

But to Query and View Entities there are usually two options:

1. The Config API allows you full access to view all Entities and all their configurations and with any status
2. The Loyalty API also exposes some of the Entities and their configurations, but in a slightly different way and for a different purpose.

When querying and viewing Entities through the Loyalty API:

• Only Published or optionally Installed Entities are visible.
• The Dimension Filter is taken into consideration, so you will only see the Entities that are relevant to you, for example to a specific website, integration, country, promotion
• Certain content, such as CMS attributes are localized based on the Dimensions you pass in, so you will only receive the CMS content in the language you requested
